My first mobile with this oohh so special timber. And yet, this flamboyant wood comes from the most familiar tree that lines the streets of the capital.  I see the London Plane tree as one of our best secrets, one I'm gonna share in many more works, but they'll be only one first mobile, and this is it.    

This log is from Richmond, dropped at my front door by a local arborist. Saved from the chipper, it's as sustainable as it gets.
